Denim outfits that are too easy to recreate

Posted on December 19, 2019December 19, 2019 by Verna Bradford

For a decent jeans dress, I’m a sucker. Pick me between the slim leg jeans or[ insert anything else literally here], and I choose the jeans 99.9% of the time. The tested fabric was my secret weapon to look elegant and organized, even when I really only want to be sweaty. “Denim has a big spot on my heart and my wardrobe,” says Hamburg-born stylist Jelena Cikoja, who calls New York City home. He’s not the only person who feels this. Her hair? Your hair? Pure perfection. Pure perfection. Her style? Her style? More about this. I have lost track of how much fascinating denim I saved from the feed of her IG, particularly before the new season, and I appreciate her awareness of the differences between American and German styles. “New York is so trendy and international; most people here like to play and wear head-turning clothes,” she says. “There are more simple and trendy people dressed in Germany.”

The style is similar to that of Cikoja, so I knew she’d be the ideal person, and I must admit … the three looks she put together using pieces from AG’s killer fall collection definitely did not disappoint .. Cikoja’s style straddles the line between those two.

Be honest: when did you say no to the look of flaky Jeans, a leather jacket and ankle boots for the last time? Hasn’t probably occurred, right? For off-duty models, girls and pure deaths alike, the outfit recipe is a favorite to good reason. But how could I change the looks of my skinny jean, if you think about yourself? I can understand that. I can understand that. Luckily, Cikoja assures me that everything is in the details. “I love leather jacket simplicity, tank tops, and jeans,” she said. “I matched it with a pair of cowboy-inspired knee boots in order to refresh it for autumn.”

And if you wondered the best way to move from summer to fall, well, that’s it. Cikoja calls it her “not ready to leave the heat, but also waiting to be cooler.” A Denim Jacket is added to the silky summer dress that has been in your closet during the past few months while you are planning for the next season. The denim jacket is another style that is trendy throughout the year with a multitude of trends. Try this with the dark-floral pattern before the weather drops too low.

Another conventional type of denim? Jeans broad-leg. This dark-washed and high-waist duo with a jumper and chunky white sneakers models Cikoja. I never was the sneaker kind, but Cikoja is convincing me. I prefer to wear jeans with white or casual flats. “The most uncomfortable of the three is this dress,” she says. “This is what I would wear in a day when I have a lot of commands to do. I always want to look for a bit of style when my classics are changed.”
