Hacks to care your Distressed or Ripped Jeans

Jeans which are designer can be costly and a good couple of jeans might cost you more than $100; some jeans might cost you more than $200. You want your jeans to last forever with the high cost of jeans, or at least until they’re out of style. Here are some tips and tricks to help keep your jeans looking for a longer time for their best. With these hacks, you can store your jeans far and natural fades of jeans will get a new structure like Honeycombs and Whiskers.

We love ripped jeans and will continue to wear them (ha!). They’re really in fashion, they’re worn by everyone and they’re an excellent complement to our wardrobes. But what if you keep tearing your jeans? Sometimes just, well, keep growing the perfectly cut holes in your pants. Soon it feels like your ankle-strap wearing shorts, rather than the trend-setting pants you purchased first. 

How to Care your Ripped Jeans

Holes in denim right now are a large fad. A wonderful way to prevent the hole from getting larger is to add a tiny quantity of transparent fingernail polish to the bottom of the hole. Warning: don’t go too much overboard with the nail polish or when the polish dries, the hole will be scratchy. A tiny quantity of polish remover can assist remove the nail polish if you put on too much polish, but beware of the remover. Test an invisible portion of the denim as it may affect the jeans ‘ color.

The best way to make sure that the dye in the jeans looks the easiest is never to wash your jeans. The less you better wash your pants. The best way to wash them is by hand. Soak the jeans in detergent water for laundry. Let the jeans sit for a little in the soapy water, then stir the jeans softly, enabling the water to pass through the fabric. Do not scrub your jeans at all. Scrubbing leads the fibers to weaken, leading to holes and color dye fading. Three times rinse the jeans to ensure that all the soap comes out. If in the washing machine you decide to wash your jeans, turn them inside out. Wash in cold water on a soft cycle.
