Fashion Fixes for Acid Wash Jeans

Posted on July 26, 2019July 25, 2019 by Verna Bradford

Acid wash jeans are back in fashion and they’re rocking than ever! They’re one of the hottest women denim jeans from the late ’80s, and if you have a downtown personality then these jeans can take your attire on another level. Acid wash is much better if they are ripped or distressed. These jeans are not for the one who has a chubby body as it shows much more than you want to show. The perfect fitting can only achieve if you have perfect thighs and hips area.

How you want to Look

It all depends on what type of look you are aiming for and if you want to highlight your curves. If you’re worried about your thighs and legs, then acid wash jeans might not be comfortable for you because the white spots will focus them even more. However, you can search for more subtle styles which have a more stone-washed “broken-in-feel” to it. You’ll still be allowed to add a little bit of edge to your attire without looking too voguish and without showing your curves. If you’re more into the town, trendy, elastic look, then the distressed and heavily aided style is definitely suitable for your wardrobe! Play with your outfit by Blending several styles in one.

Adopt Darker Shades

The Best Way to make your acid jeans a perfect match is that you should wear bright colors and accessories with the acid-washed jeans but confirm they’re of solid-color so that they won’t harras with the bottom. I always love turning any casual or edgy outfit into something Chicky- with for example pearls, Jackie O sunglasses or a waist belt. This is an adequate way to tone down the trendy look of the jeans.

For the one Who has Curves

If you want to wear these trendy distressed jeans but don’t want too much attention to your curves? Then balance it out with various accessories such as a necklace, scarf or a pair of earrings. This will support you with making your bottom look less heavy (especially if you’re a pear body shape or have some extra weight around your hips and thighs). Just focus that the added accessory isn’t too heavy otherwise you will shatter your dressing.

Pick the 80’s look

A styling trick that helps you to update the 80s feel of the jeans, is to blend them with modern shoes. Ankle booties, Gladiator shoes, moccasins, and flat pumps are the perfect type of shoe styles to go with this outfit combo. Just make sure that the toe and heel aren’t too pointy or thin – because that’ll only distress the look.

When dressing up an acid wash jeans you must follow some Do’s and Don’ts to get a limelight wherever you go. Outfit shattering may decrease your image in other’s mind so always fix you fashion before going out.
