What to look/consider while you buy denim

Posted on July 22, 2019July 22, 2019 by Verna Bradford

While going shopping for jeans, do you know how to identify a high-quality pair? Are you often dissatisfied with your denim purchases, but aren’t sure why? If you need jeans that feel good to wear and last longer than a typical celebrity marriage, it’s adequate to know how to spot good quality Material. A good pair of Denim can be made by designer brands, as well as some less expensive labels. While designer denim brands are more likely to use higher quality materials in general, the best-made jeans are not limited to those with higher price tags, which will be not a better option for value-seeking shoppers. Here’s a trendy checklist to take along with you the next time you go jeans shopping. Use it to get more bang for your denim buck and give your wardrobe another pair of Denim

Heavier Fabric

When you’re browsing a lot of jeans, get your hands on the fabric. Good quality jeans are made from a stronger, heavier weight of denim fabric, which feels different than a lighter weave. Just as with the bedsheets, a high thread count is a sign of better quality fabric. When you have any doubt about fabric material, ask a salesperson. Jeans brand label can also provide information. Denim Companies that invest in high-quality fabric, such as Levi’s and Mother Denim, often share details about it in their product labeling. So When the Weight is Heavier it is of Good Quality? As a saying, anything below a 12-ounce weight is considered light-weight denim and may be of lower quality. And heavyweight Denim will be of higher quality.

Double stitching

When you go shopping next time, Just check out the double stitching around the hems and pockets. As you are looking for durable and long-lasting fabric. Double-stitching (two rows of stitches placed close together) and chain-stitching (a looped stitch resembling the links of a chain) are signs that Jeans are handled with care while manufacturing. A single row of stitches is enough too, as long as it’s done with the thick and durable thread (you’ll see this on many high-quality denim brands). If you’re not sure about the quality of a pair of Blue jeans, do the by stretching them from seams. If you see or hear the threads pulling apart, that’s a sign of low-quality construction.

Details of Design

Always check the little details on the pair of jeans which can help you figure out if they’re made to last. Certain design features, fabrics, and materials, such as copper buttons and rivets, are proof that the company has invested while constructing the jeans. A warning when it comes to design details, though. Don’t get fooled by fakes. Some knock-off brands have become expert in mimicking the styling of designer jeans. Profiled back pockets, for instance, can be found on cheap brands and better brands alike, so don’t believe on details by sight alone without checking into the actual materials used. So most pair of jeans have the same pocket, whiskers, design but the magic is Individual fit. This type of buying tricks can lead you to your desired jeans.
